About me

I'm a computer scientist, educator, speaker, libertarian and entrepreneur. As a computer scientist, I love to delve into the intricacies of emerging and disruptive technologies, while my passion for education drives me to share knowledge with others. I like to engage in debates on various matters and making complex topics accessible to a diverse audience/layperson. As a teenager, I've always somewhat had an entrepreneurial spirit, looking for opportunities to create value in the shape of a product or service for people to consume.
I hold a BSc and PhD in Computer Science and a Chartered IT Professional, showcasing my commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in my field. My career is marked by an array of experiences amassed from various industries e.g. healthcare, energy, telephony, travel, finance and broadcast. I've worked in early-stage, SMEs, large enterprises and mergers and acquisitions. I've got a keen interest of the interplay between technology and business, contributing to projects of significant value creation and wider impact. I'm used to adapting and innovating which makes me a key player in the rapidly evolving landscape of technology-driven industries.
At the core of my success is an unbridled passion for learning and technology. I like to think of myself as a true renaissance man, constantly seeking to broaden my horizons and embrace new challenges. Whether staying abreast of cutting-edge technologies or delving into the nuances of emerging trends, is my way of remaining at the forefront of innovation.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family. As a husband and father of two, their support keeps my life balanced and fulfilling. I am interested in intellectually stimulating pursuits as well as physically challenging activities. I've got a penchant for travel, exploring different cultures and landscapes. This love for adventure is complemented by a commitment to health and fitness, with regular training in the gym to keep myself fit and in good condition. I've got a strong interest in nostalgia, particularly regarding world events, films, music and the evolution of technology. My natural inquisitive mind extends beyond technical domains into the world of ideas. For me, each new challenge is an invitation to learn, create, and grow—not only as a professional but as a lifelong student of life.
